Brodkorb (now that he's outed himself we can use his name) has literally made a career of verbal/print "guilt by association." He's honed it to a science -- albeit an ethically-challenged science.
Take solace however. He's the only professional blogger to be fired for being too negative ... his blog on behalf of Randy Kelly last September was disavowed by Kelly and repudiated by the financier.
Of course Brodkorb denied it was negative campaigning. Too bad he couldn't convince his money-man.
Interestingly, the blog never published an article after the financing was withdrawn.
