Gopher Stadium Goes Down - For Now
The Senate's proposal (at this point, largely Sen. Pogemiller's proposal) for a Gopher football stadium just went down in the Tax commitee after a sports memorabilia tax user fee was added. It's almost certain to be a very temporary (like something passing as soon as tomorrow) setback.
I do like the version of the stadium that the Senate passed a lot more than the one that the House passed, but the money does have to come from somewhere.
